Private Dining!
Join us this fall as we celebrate our 7th anniversary with the addition of a new private dining room! Where? Next door at 308 Market Street. The expansion will enable us to seat parties from 10 to 35 or host cocktail parties up to 50. The new room will be the perfect venue for any special occasion, corporate meeting, or simply any get-together of friends or family. Marguerite Rodgers, Ltd., who created the ambiance of Fork, designed the expansion. The renovation is expected to be complete in early November, so we’ll be ready just in time for the holiday season. In addition to private dining, the expansion will provide a more intimate space for the many special events that we host throughout the year including wine tastings, beer dinners, and guest chef dinners. See our calendar of events for the upcoming line up. Reservations are being taken now for the new private dining room!

Focus On Wine

Lambardi Rosso di Montalcino and Brunello di Montalcino

Last May owners Roberto Sella and Ellen Yin had the opportunity to visit Maurizio Lambardi right at home in southern Tuscany. Montalcino, one of Italy’s most renowned wine regions, is only two hours north of Rome (or 10 hours from Philadelphia if you fly US Airways direct to Rome!). Maurizio runs this small four-hectare estate and was the head of the Brunello consortium. We have been great fans of Maurizio’s ever since 1998 when we added the Rosso di Montalcino 1997 to our wine list. His is one of the few wines that has consistently remained on our list through the years. His traditionally styled wine is well balanced, with ripe, sweet plum and red berry fruit. There is a slight smokiness that adds complexity. Recently, we added several vintages of his Brunello di Montalcino to our reserve list. The real discovery at Maurizio’s was his grappa, which is so smooth that we had to make a trip back to get more!

Make it a Night on Wednesdays!

The dinner, based on seasonal ingredients and Chef’s whim, is $40 per person (excluding tax and gratuity). To find out what’s for dinner, check out our menu board in the entryway!
